The inspiration for this film came from the ownership of an old vintage lens, particularly the Elgeet 25mm f1.9. This imperfect lens by moderns standards is quirky and not up to par for most filmmaking needs so I decided to try and discover a reason to use it and lean on a concept that we never really know what we have until it’s gone. I can proudly say the entirety of this film was shot on the vintage Elgeet 25mm lens as a result.
