Nothing brings a loving family together like a friendly board game over the holidays. This is not that story.
Nothing brings a loving family together like a friendly board game over the holidays. This is not that story.
Somewhere in the past five years, my family holidays went from being full of games and festivities to being full of fighting and disagreements. We’d be doing something as simple as playing cards, but somehow still end up arguing about Trump, BLM, and whether or not Tucker Carlson knows how stupid his bow ties look. It was shocking we’re such a tight knit family and there was a point where these issues actually threatened our relationships. Thankfully, we created some boundaries and figured out how to not let political issues affect us as much. I realized that most families have been having a similar experience since Trump was elected and thought it would make a great short.
